Daniel cries Wolf!
27.05.10
Daniel joins Paul Holowaty, Gregg Lowe and the award-winning Hollyoaks actresss Emma Rigby for the London premiere of the psycho-sexual musical thriller Wolfboy, which runs at Trafalgar Studios from July 8 (previews from July 6) to July 31, 2010.
Adapted from Brad Fraser’s original play of the same title by Russell Labey and Leon Parris, the musical is a dark and disturbing tale of two troubled teenage boys locked in an asylum for their own good. Bernie has attempted suicide; David may or may not have the powers of a wolf. For them the outside world is a frightening place of abuse and violence. Bernie’s brother Christian and Cherry the young nurse on the unit, also hide secrets that surface in the night, when the moon is full.
The original play is famous for a 1984 production in Toronto starring a then unknown Keanu Reeves. A version of this production premiered at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it also starred Paul Holowaty and Gregg Lowe.
Tickets: £25, £19.50 concessions.
Times: Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3pm.
